RED CHILLI

Red Chilli, also known as chili pepper or chili, is the fruit of plants from the genus Capsicum. They are members of the nightshade family, related to sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Red chilis are known for their fiery heat, which is measured in Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The heat is caused by a chemical compound called capsaicin. The higher the SHU rating, the hotter the chili.
